When I was taking a small drainage ditch at about a 45 degree angle (going downwards, left fr. tire 1st), a seriously bad crunching sound came from the front wheel area. It sounded like the whole assembly was flying apart. This has happened before on "off-cambered" dips before, but not as bad. Don't see any damage, but something sure binds when you take an 'angle' vs. a 'straight on' approach which doesn't bind-up.
I went and took the same dip in my 96' 4x4 360 (ranch truck) w/ 35 BFG's, and it made the same noise, but much less of a loud crunch.
Anybody know what's goin' on with this?
