What size drive and what length handle will I need to replace the serpentine belt on my 2005 4WD Ram 2500 Cummins?

It's been a while since I changed the belt on the 3rd gen; but I believe all you need is a 3/8" square drive (could be 1/2", but I don't think so) and a decent length cheater bar if you have one. I used the Gearwrench serpentine belt tool, so I don't know exactly what length you need. It's not very difficult to change though. Just make sure to pay close attention to how the belt is routed before removal...

On my '06, I use a long handled (1. 5') 1/2" drive ratchet, no cheater needed. Just a little working overhead with crossed arms to slide the belt behind the tensioner assembly. The ratchet is a close fit and rubs on the fan shroud a bit but doesn't cause any damage. This method seems to work well for me.

A 1/2" breaker bar from underneath will do the trick very easily, and you don't need a helper.

Don't try and take the belt over the fan. The backside of the belt drives the fan pulley.
