Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Service Manual for my 98 12v..

Anyone know of a good place to get a GOOD service manual for my Cummins?



I looked on Ebay but they list everything in letter form for motor identification and I do not know this either...

Service Manual

I got mine from Chrysler Publications, gave them the VIN # and they sent me a shop manual and the supplements. 1-800-890-4038

I also got mine from Chrysler. They sent me all the supplements and everything for about the price of just the main book (not that I'll probably ever really need the supplements). I also ended up getting it shipped to my door in about a day.

The best service manual has the Mopar logo (and alot of us wouldn't say that for hard parts!) I have found when it comes to tracing electrical problems not one other book comes close. Most are written (self-admittedly) from the perspective of tearing a truck apart. Mopars perspective is from putting it together in the first place!!

Bought a factory service manual (FSM) from www.techauthority.com Shipped quick. Think mine was like $80-90, but it is near 3" thick. Lots of wiring diagrams, too.
