Service manual on CD

I just purchased a service manual on Cd from a guy on Ebay. I thought it would probably be something like a Chilton's manual, because I only payed 16. 00 delivered.

Well to my suprise it's the exact Dodge service manual that you buy from Dodge in PDF format.

It has all the pictures and diagrams, and they are printable. This is a must have!

I thought there was a discussion around here not to long ago about the legality of theses manuals. The factory service manual is copyrighted material. Sounds like a nifty item though.

The company that you get the manuals from offer the CD version for about $90. Old style book form (2 books for the 03) is about $110.



The guy on eBay must be crankin' out copies of the disk and really putting himself at risk for a few bucks each time.

CD the way to go

I purchase a used CD in the classifided about a year go,

I love it, i sold the big orange book.



I travel with the computer, it is great on the computer. You can install it on the harddrive too. I can cut and paste and send it to the wife. She actual pull the comp with the help of the instruction and pictures from the book, and me of course on the phone too. Remove the turnbuckle, scotty, bone stock.

Well I guess i'll have to appologize. I just looked at Ebay and there was no listings for the 03's. The sellers name was "yourpartsource" so you can look his other listings up and see what other years he has available . I did see the 02's listed.

The CD I recieved does not look like something somebody just copied off, it says 2003 Dodge Ram Service Manual, and has a copyright mark on it, if that means anything.

I've got one also, I'm doubt he is licenced to sell these, if it is the same guy he is also selling ford cd's.



It seems to be just like a regular manual. Good section on the ole cummins.

We just bought my wife a 2000 2500 4X4... I need to invest in something like this. I have the big book on my 97 but I need to get something for her truck.

As of the first of August we will be a 2 truck family. . Dodge Cummins truck family that is! Cool huh!!!

I got mine yesterday in the mail. Doubt that DC is getting a cut of my $7. 99! It seems to be the real McCoy. The magnification choice in the Acrobat is nice for the small print. This is a must have!Oo.

That CD doesn't look like mine, IIRC. Mine is the $90. 00 one. I'll try to put a picture of mine up, so you can compare.
