Service Manual???

Which year should I get for a service manual on my 04. 5'? Will the 04' service manual have the "600" motor, or would an 05' service manual be better? I have heard both, but want to be sure. They are kind of pricey.

I was told the 04 covers the 04. 5... at one point they were online (down loadable) so I got both the 04 and 05 just to be safe.

I have also been told by Dodge service reps and by sales reps for the manual's publisher (Tech Authority 800-626-1523) that they imagine I should buy the 2004 Service Manual but implied in their answer is that they do not know for sure.



Have you noticed any differences between the 2004 Service Manual (SM) and the 2005 SM that would confirm for 2004. 5 owners which one should they get?

The link is long since dead... I got them from hemitruckclub when they still had them up...

I have not seen any significant difference between the 04 and 05 manuals... but its not like I have flipped them page for page.

I'm sure there would be small things... the 04. 5 is a 600 as the 05, but it has a external lift pump, unlike the 05 with the intank pump is one... the change from the NV5600 to the G56 is another.
