OR CD

Is there somewhere that I can get this for a bit less than the dealership. I did a web search and they were all in the ~$200 range.
Right now all I need it for is to disassemble the dash. I'm mounting a 2 way radio and want the remote head on the top of the dash with wires running hidden inside the dash. I suspect eventually I'll need it for other things like service :)

Geno's doesn't have the later models.

TIA

Starting with the 2010 model year the manuals are no more. If you want to see what used to be the service manuals you have to get an online subscription to Techauthority.com. They have three levels:

For a single user:
3 days - $35. 00
1 month - $250
1 year - $1800

You have got to be kidding!

The local dealer quoted around $200 for manual on CD. I wonder if that was for the 2010?

Thanks, I guess I'll have to wait until one of the aftermarket guy come up with their version.

Kevin, Right you are! I just got off the phone with the TechAuthority help line and they confirmed exactly what you said. I wonder if it's possible to print the exploded views. Like I said, right now I just want to take appart the dash.

Thanks for the info!!!

Do you think we can start a class action suit to make TechAuthoity put the service manual in a CD.
It is just wrong that you can not get information about something you paid a lot of money for.
I wish Dodge was never bought by Fiat

I don't think a law suite would get us anywhere. They make the information available and I think that is the end of their obligation.
With my 06 I got a print out of the exploded view of the dash from somewhere, I can't remember where though. I used it quite a bit when installing gauges and radios.

I did get the panel under the steering wheel off. Pretty simple two screw operation. I've got the air bag gauge and controls and the switch of the compressor mounted. The center console looks to be a bit more complicated and that is where I need to go to mount the 2 way radio (Ham stuff).

I would think that printing would be allowed. Not much point otherwise.

With that being said I would pay for the three day pass, make an agreement at work to use the big printer after hours and print the whole thing.

That's how I roll... ... ... :-laf

"I wish Dodge was never bought by Fiat". The other choice was "Home Depot" Nardelli and Cerberus. By now, the Ram brand could have gone the way of Oldsmobile, Pontiac, and Saturn. At least a real car guy is running the show now- and it shows in the products.

I agree 100%!!!

The dealers have real live reps calling on them again and the lines of communication are opening up. No way would I want to see the previous owners back in there.

Just try to imagine the old management sending marketing folk to the Cummins get together and encouraging them to speak with CTD owners for suggestions, it simply would not have happened. It will take a while to fix everything but they are working on it. Go get 'em, Sergio... ... ... :D

I have all data for my other vehicals and I put the 3500 on it too.
But I finally got thru to Mopar Tech and I can use it but I don't like it as much as the CD or Manual.
But thanks for getting back to me.
