I just picked up my new 2001 2500. DC replaced my 1999 2500 because of brake pull. Does anyone know if the service manual for the 1999 can be of any use on the 01? I guess I could call DC, but I think I know what they will say... .....

I recently got my '01 manual(s). It's the 2000 manual with a 2001 supplement. I don't know how the '99 compares to the 2000, but I think you could buy the supplement by itself. I bet Dave Fritz on Fritz's website or KCRAM on Edmund's Town Hall would know the answer. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if one of our sharp TDR members would know also. #ad

Your best bet is to buy the 2000 manual with the 2001 supplement. There were a few changes, mainly in electrical and transmission. Better to be on the safe side. I kept my 98 manual just for reference and to help out other Ram owners. #ad
