H36 recall completed. New steering drag link and steering damper bracket.

Flashed PCM to AV from AP. :)

All in the time it took for the wife and I to eat breakfast, grocery shop and go to post office.

Very satisified with dealer service.

The flash upgrade was not "required". It's best not to show who gave me something that was not "needed". Dodge does not approve of flash upgrades unless needed. Trying to cover my service manager. It's a shame that Dodge does not approve flash upgrades when a new flash comes out.

A fellow TDR member and very knowledgeable dealer tech did mine and explained that if you know how to read and interpret the Dodge warranty guidelines to do what you want to do it is perfectly okay to perform the flash at owner's request.

Your dealer does not read the warranty bulletins, specifically this from D-09-12.

BACKGROUND:

In an effort to delight the customer and enhance the experience on the Service Drive, we are now promoting the usage of wiTECH® to pro-actively provide the customer with the latest module software available for their vehicle at every service visit, without waiting for a specific symptom to occur. This action supersedes the previous policy requiring that a customer wait for a specific

symptom before executing a flash operation.

So now I confused and will need to talk to the service manager. My receipt shows P2262 code in ECM. I thought maybe he was making this up as a reason to do the flash upgrade. Love my truck but wish they still made IDI's when it comes to this stuff.
