My overhead display reads "perform service" everytime at startup. The dpf and egr are bypassed. Is therre a way to reset this without going to the dealer. I have access to a snap on computer that i may try.

off the top of my head I think it's turn the key on (engine off) and slowly depress the throttle pedal to the floor 3 times within 10 seconds.
