Dave hope you can make it. Just go over 92 and when you get to the light at Hwy 1 turn left then go to the first light and hang a right. Go down that street and just before you fly off into the ocean make a right down the half paved road and follow the smoke from there.

his address is 121 Balboa----but if you can find that number on the path--good luck---once you've taken that right onto Balboa off of Kelly which is off of hwy 1 you go about 100 yds and you will see a skull and crossbones sign with Danger Explosives ahead--take a right there--little white house---well like Blair said follow the smoke, so the house may be a sooty black color instead of white----chris

Cravan to Nowel's from the east bay

If anyone is wondering how to get to our "spiritual diesel leader's" house from the East Bay, or if you are coming from up north, you are more than welcome to follow our group. There will be a number of us meeting at my shop in Martinez to caravan over to Nowels on Sat. Feel free to call me. His house can be a little tricky to find if you have not been there before. If you plan on this, let me know so we can get a head count before we leave.

I would like to let everyone know that the 20th is for sure and is a go. The time is 11 AM and we will have food and drinks there. If anyone would like to bring food to add I don't think anyone would object. I am not sure what time we will end the day but if there are a lot of people that plan to stick around late in the evening (like the out of towners) please post here so that I can make provisions for lighting as his house is quite dark at night...

Many will be coming from great distances and since the sun goes down by 4:45 PM or so, you might want to consider lighting the house.



I am planning to stay overnight in the area and then head home to Sacramento on Sunday during the day.

Truck Parade

Someone suggested a truck parade through town with the Red Rocket leading the pack. I though that would be a great way to honor Nowel.
