Sadly I will have to pay my respects from here.
I just today closed the deal on a new shop. The only bummer is I need to move by Jan 04 ... Normally not a huge problem except this weekend we are also moving my family to a new house and repairing then towing a 38' Fifth wheel I bought used back the shop.
I think I will just stop my work tomorrow and go run a Few 1/4 mile runs with the Boxes cranked up and the stacks blowin black

The moment of silence just isn't right for respecting Nowell.
I have a lot of good memories of fun times with Nowell and many of you who will be at Half Moon Bay. One that comes to mind is when Nowell and I went to have a bite to eat down the street from his house at a German?Bar/Restaraunt.
I had the 1st prototype of the B-1 with me. We were both starved and between chompin down Brauts I would steer the conversation to this prototype turbo I knew was going to kick... . But Nowell would just steer it right back to a new change he was trying with his current compound twins... . I finally gave up the battle of words and wit and told him his compounds would be a much better setup... ..... Of course using my B-1 as the secondary!!!!
"How did you get to know Nowell ? "
Here's my story
I had spoken with Nowell by phone from Mexico after finding a picture of his "Red Rocket's" Propane System on the TDR.
I had bought my truck in may 2000 and the TDR was actually mentioned on my 2001 4x4's CTD ETH Dealer Window sticker.
So I called Nowell and he mentioned the Tulare truck meet and that it had been all Ferds before and they had opened it up to all Diesels. So would I come up and help make a good showing of CTD's. ?. He said he already had a room reserved and if I wanted I could stay there. A few days later I headed back to the U. S. A. and minutes after getting to Tulare Nowell was shaking my hand with one hand and handing me a set of RV275's and say's
"try these for me in your truck I want to see how they are in a 01 ETH"
If you like em then I could pay.
We installed them at midnight in my CTD out in the dirt lot with the campers. I drove it to the hotel then back the next morn and I was hooked... ..... A few hours later Nowell introduced me to Bret with EDGE products... . If I remember right Bret and the rest of the Edge crew had arrived just a few minutes before and I think they were actually pooring the epoxy into their new EZ's as they had driven up to the event. So I "Kwikly" wrote Nowell a Bad Check asking him to call me (and don't speak to my wife as I had only made 2 payments on the truck) )before he cashed it.
5 Minutes later my clutch (oem 6 Speed) was Stinkin, Smokin and I was hooked!!!! 4 Years later one of the reasons I can't make it to his funeral is because I have to move my Diesel Performance Shop into a Bigger building for the second time since that first fateful day... ... . I think he's looking down, laughing and knowing he's partially responsible... ... .
Guy's please have a round of Blair's Motorized Margirita's on me and a Toast for Nowell.
