21 Big Horn 3500 mega light upgrades

Wow, I was considering a 2025 5500 but is there going to be a company to back it in the future?

IMHO Jeep and Ram are the only "American" parts of the company that will survive if the ship goes down.
they are going to have to dump a years worth of unsold vehicles at bargain prices...

the only reason I own my Ram is because of the Cummins, so if that relationship was to drown
I wouldn't care either way.

Jeep and RAM are not going anywhere. If anything, someone else will pick them up. Who knows, but I do really wished Mr. Rhodes would've been able to buy RAM and Dodge. I'd love to put the Dodge and RAM back together like the good old days.

In 2026 I'll be buying a new truck. Will be doing window shopping next year... I am hoping that Stellantis pulls it together with the HD trucks at least.

I'm with the camp, RAM and Jeep have way to much of a following to let go the way of the dinosaurs! Someone (company) will step in and buy at least that portion of the card. We need a modern day "Lee Iacocca" to save us! :D

Jeep has been under how many corporate parents over the years?
my mind says Willy's, Kaiser, AMC, and then how many forms of Mopar over the years?

I'm thinking Daimler Chrysler, Fiat Chrysler and now Stellantis... have I left one out?

always been the weakest company of the Big 3... with a few cool products and a bunch of crap no one would seriously think to purchase. :)

I dunno, but there's a lot of Jeeps (old and new) with lift kits, mods, etc going for some hefty dollar amounts all over.

Even when I had my Jeep Compass, even though that wasn't a Wrangler, folks liked that it was a Jeep. I got 412k out of it, but it was always on my jack stands from day one brand new with 7 miles on it...

looks grim for stellantis. the hornet is a disaster. slowest selling car in north america. i think they announced all 1500s will be made in mexico now. they got rid of the hemi in almost everything. along with the challenger and the charger ( which sold a lot ). the new EV joke charger is months late, and is 80,000. everything this company is doing is wrong , in my o. also put up the 4000 acre chrysler proving grounds in arizona up for sale on friday. anyhoo, best of luck to them. and european ( portugal ) guys shouldnt run an american car company.

So they are gutting out the company as we speak . Selling off assets is the start. If some private equity firm buys it we are toast they will do a lot more of what they are doing now.

They should've made a the Ramcharger with a diesel engine. A lot of hybrid enthusiasts see the light in diesel-electric powertrains to make a combination of EV and diesel work together. Been a ton of talk about it in magazines and other places as of late.

Whoever does the first production worthy diesel-electric hybrid is going to make a killing.

Funny they keep the old Pentastar around, attach it to a generator, but axe the Hemi and the EcoDiesel.

Wish I could make those horrible decisions at work... oh wait, I would be out a job. lol

Ram is still alive. My son just ordered a 3500 cab/chassis about a month ago, it is built already.

Yes, RAM is still alive and working. However, it's the way they are operating is not sustainable economically.

Personally, they should've stayed status quo on a lot of their products, also trying to electrify them with marketing already failing at it. Keep the Hemi, EcoD, etc. RAM already has the nicest interiors and thoughtful designs. Personally, the DT 1500 with the EcoD or the Hemi in 2020 thru 2023 was probably one of the best half ton truck you could buy. The HD trucks are fine too, just some minor tweaking. Although, I'm actually hankering for the current design RAM HD, but with just the new transmission. Leave the rest of it alone.

Keeping up with the Jones' doesn't necessarily mean profits.
