I am working on a Ford cummins swap. I tore my VE pump apart, bought a new head and rotor and am trying to set port closure correctly. Right now with out the shim on the camplate I am seeing 1.75mm of lift to port closure. So in order to get to that 1.35 number it looks like I need a .4mm shim ( Yes I'm sure I'm using MM). But I don't believe that to be correct. Any suggestions?
