Codes

Wolf,

I waited until I thought that most of the code problems were fixed then I bought my TST box. I got a crankshaft sensor code that stayed lit for 1 day then went away, no codes since. The performance of the TST box is incredible, I would buy it again in a minute.

hey not_agn try moving your ground to inside cab and see what happens. that is the last I did and for 4 days I have been code free (that's a first on this truck with tst box on) and a/c is cold. .

I talked to a local dodge dealer and they said that some boxes put a code in the computer that the dealer can't erase. I called TST and they said that they were able to erase every code, even the ones that the dealer couldn't erase. You may want to call TST and get some input from them.

Just to put in 2 cents...

I have a Banks Six Shooter with speed loader and I got the same P0336 after about a week. It cleared itself within 12 hours but it made me a little uneasy!!

I talked to TST yesterday. They said the P0336 Crank Position Sensor is from them. They are working on a fix. They don't think the P0480 Cooling Fan Control Circuit and P0646 A/C Clutch Relay are from them. I found a Actron code reader last night that was able to clear the codes. If they all come back at the same time I will call TST again.

yes I was referring to the tst box ground. I had it mounted to the fender bolt that has a 8 inch lead to the battery and tst said it should be on the battery so I put it there and I had all sorts of codes pop-pen up. I cleaned the battery terminals and that made no difference, then just so I could shut the box of I ran a lead inside the cab to a switch the to dash frame (right by the knee bolster panel thingy) I have not had a code since.
