Yes, believe it or not. After 130,000 miles of enduring the vibration in my truck, see sig. , last weekend while having my wheels and tires rotated and balanced, the tech said come see this. One of the stock chrome rims is bent. I have no idea how this could be since this makes about the 50 or 60th time the wheels have been rotated and balanced. I mean it is almost impossible to have missed when balancing, yet over the last 4 years no one, 5 stars included, had noticed or mentioned it to me.

So a call to DC provided me with a $400 price quote without the tire!!! Ouch!!!!

Oh well, at least I now have the mystery vibration problem solved, and it didn't involve the carrier bearing, which was next.

Anyone know where or who may have a stock chrome wheel they would sell me for my truck???

Don't waste any money on stock rims because they are just about all junk!(at least the stock chrome 6. 5')

I had 2 bent real bad and a 3'rd out of round right from factory.

I got a real rusty set you can have once I replace them. Here's the kicker, they're severely rusted on the inside. The ousides are just starting to spot.

I'm shopping for aftermarket alloy wheels.

I have 4 chrome rims and the original spare on a steel rim with Michelin 245-75R-16 tires. They were not on my 99 truck when I rolled over and was written off by the insurance company. The rims are in very good condition and the tires have about 25,000 miles on them. The spare has never been on the ground. Since they do not fit my new truck I will be very reasonable about pricing if they can be of use and shipping costs are not out of sight.

i had 3 of 4 bent. Its very common. And if you replace it, the new one might be bent. They are worthless rims. You can get the alcoas very reasonable... .

$400. 00 for one rim you got to be kidding (saying it nicely) me? Did you ask if that came with a HUGE jar of vasoline as well?

Next time you're in Roanoke, VA, area, give me a call. I've got four from my '98 12V 2500 that I've used once in the last 65K miles.

But if you've got a 3500, never mind. :)

Thanks everyone for all of the offers. Since I cannot afford to replace all of the $400 wheels with something different for now I'll settle for one wheel in TX from Jetson.

I appreciate all of your help.
