anyone having problems with the truck almost slipping during hard acceleration? I was hoping that buying an 04 would help the weak trans issue but, not really. . besides going the dtt or ats route, any ideas??

An edge juice on an automatic and you wonder why it's slipping.....

Bingo... the stock TC sucks. Get a new TC so you're actually putting that power to the ground. The transmission can handle it, the wet donut between the engine and transmission is just too soft.

I agree, who has the best converter? Suncoast, DTT, ATs?

I'm ears on this one. :)

Are you just TRYING to start a riot in here? :p

My preference is DTT, but that's not to say there's anything wrong with the others, no I'm lying, everything else is a P. O. S. in comparison!!

That oughta get the flames rollin ;)

Yep, I was thinking either dtt or suncoast converter, and changing the valve body as well. For those that have done this mod, is there a noticeable improvement after the changes?

spend a couple of hundred more bux and get a good valve body. the dc valve body is just as aRSE as the tc

the indesiciveness of the shifting on my truck is rediculous!
