shadow cruser

Hi guys

need your opinion i found a 1996 shadow cruiser truck camper 8 1/2 foot, funace,toilet, 3-way fridge 4 corner jacks lots of storage, some minor water damage form an old leak that has been fixed for $ 2,500 I have not seen it. Its a cupel of hours from my house. just wanted to know if any of you know anything about shadow cruisers. or if i shoud keep looking. Im looking for a slid in to use to go to soccer games. i dont want to spend a lot. just make the times between games a little bedder

I will try to field this one for you.



1) I never was very impressed with SC products. Have bought and sold a couple of those.



2) You will need to look at the unit carefully. At that age, you could have some real problems... ... ... ... ..... sounds like they have already had some.



3) Average life of systems in RVs( ie: appliances, WH, AC, Frig, etc. ) is 10 years. This unit is well past that age. A/Cs are 7 to 8 hundred. Frig is a grand... ... ... ... you get the picture.



Just be careful. It maybe a great deal or a $2500 nightmare.
