I guess I did not torque my VE down when I swapped the engine. I saw that my truck was leaking fuel popped the hood and saw that the return line was leaking at the bracket that holds it on to the side of the engine. The why was because my pump was vibrating back and forth (my afc line is completely sheared). My question to everyone is can I pry the tab off the tubing and clamp fuel hose over the leak? I'm open to any other ideas. Lastly, is there any possibility of my Cummins dealer having this tube in stock on Monday?

Plan B

I'm taking the whole tube off, cutting the part wtih the tab off(the tab is like spot welded on not just folded over, it wouldn't pry off) and rejoining it with the fuel tubing and hose clamps. I hope to get it done before it hits 10*tonight. Stay tuned.

It worked! I was almost hugging the engine getting the end on the tee back by the firewall. It's nice when a temporary fix works. :D

i had the same line break in the same spot atfer the pump came loose on mine then i couldnt get the holder off the line so i got some fuel hose and clamps to run a new line back to the tee and just bypass the one on the block..... i had to get on top of the motor just to get the tee off it and it still was a b!tch to get off.
