Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Shaky Boost Guage

It is normal for the needle on the boost guage to be shakey? After about 10lbs of boost, my guage is pretty shakey.

If you put a "restrictor" in the hose going to the gauge, the "shakiness" should go away. The restrictor could be likened to a "jet" in the carburetor. Some use a very small needle valve that can be opened up to provide more rapid response in the gauge or metered down to eliminate any shakyness in the gauge.
