To answer his question. . yes I would think a FASS would take care of your problems. You also need to upgrade to larger banjos or do away with all the banjos. If I remember corectly some of the FASS "kits" have all the stuff you need to do that.

When I started on the TDR all I wanted was 275's... now look at me. If I had more $$ I would have two turbos and ... ... ... .

Of course this gives me an excuse to get a ATS exhaust manifold. All Items will go on as soon as I get the truck back from the shop. Shame on all of you for giving me such great advise. because I did listen... all I need now is some advise on a better fuel system, I already changed out one lift pump and I was thinking of getting the FASS system, Does that sound OK, or should I look at something else?? Also, what HP do you think I will be at? Anything I might of overlooked? I will listen... as you can see. I thank The TDR for all the great people I have met and for all the help I have received. .

I'm sure glad I don't need to BOMB my truck. After all, I only bought it to tow a 13,500 lb 36' 5th wheel - which it will now do up 6% grades at 85+ MPH. :( :rolleyes: :D

You could treat your disease with some type of displacement therapy. You know, replace the illness with something else. The problem is, it may cost just as much, it may not be as much fun, and it may backfire and leave you with two afflictions!



Just like a runaway diesel, the best way to stop it is starving it for air, I mean Ca$h.
 
I, too, have been bit hard by the bug. But, alas, I'm in the economic toilet of the country for a while more (dang Stoddard Co Nazis:mad::mad::mad: ). Anyway, it does help resale a bit when a guy shows up in a PSD, and and afte a 2mi test drive, says that my old 93 jalopy will run circles around the V8. I Still need to intercool mine. Then it needs a new head (have the infamous cracks between the intake valve seats and injector bores), so why not go with a ported one? Then I'll need new injectors to go in the new head. Then a bigger turbo to feed the bigger injectors (4" system pieces almost completely bought). Cam to improve overall performance... ... on and on and on and on... ... ...



IT NEVER ENDS!!!!!! I'm hooked, but will never admit it, nor seek treatment, unless it is to buy a 2nd gen to play with. Need to find me a barrel racer with a rich daddy.....
