Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) She finally gave up the fight today

The clutch, that is.



After about 6000 miles with the injectors in, the clutch couldn't take anymore and now can't even hold the injectors with the comp turned off. It had been showing signs since hunting season, and was progressively getting worse in the last few days. Today, trying to test the water/meth system did it in before I could even get the new bomb to turn on.



What a bummer

I guess I was lucky it held for so long.

Your truck sure laid down some pretty good numbers for having a weak clutch today. Somehow I think I sense a SBC Dual Disk clutch in matts future! Oo. Oo.
