Took my girlfriend to a movie last night (Shallow Hal is hilarious)... ... . while parking this guy in another truck stops behind mine... rolls down his window and listens Then revs his and takes off, he could only see the rear of the truck so I guess the turbo sound caught his attention... ... I tried to find him but couldn't, my girlfriend encourges me to find people to play with. Scary huh?



Then while in line at the box office my girl friend overheard some other guys talking "I'd like to have seen ya try to beat that truck" ..... were they talking bout mine? I have no idea, was just kinda neat my girlfriend was paying attention to that stuff.

I like your girlfriend Kat. Mines sort of the same way but sure just doesn't like to look at how much it costs. That's probly because we are both starving college students.

Kat I think she is a keeper! It's kinda like mine the first race I took her to she was hooked after the first round and thinking it sucked if someone broke, she also thinks the truck is cool but wishes it was a 4x4. MPagnucco I would do the work and foot the bill unless it was a major breakage cause the only thing covered is the motor in my case.

Well you should of heard these guys talking at the theater. They actually thought they would stand a chance racing Kat. And while I was listening I was laughing... ... ..... because everyone who knows Kat... ... . knows they wouldn't have won



Kat has gotten me hooked on TDR. I check TDR everyday. I am waiting for the day Kat will take me racing with him... ..... but I don't just want to go... ... ... . I WANT TO DRIVE!!!!!!!



So it is now up to whoever reads this reply... . you need to convince Kat that he should let me drive sometime.

I think this needs a whole new thread!!! Kat I don't think you should take her and let her drive. She would probly be the first to break into the 13. 50 range. Then you will have to post "She(my girlfriend) ran a 13. 5 today!!!"

That's great Kat. She sounds just like my girlfriend. She loves diesels and racing too. I let her slide my camplate one day when I was making some minor tweaks and now I have to lock up the tools. She's always kidding me that she's going to slide my camplate all the way backwards and challenge me to a race the next morning.



When I get my engine and transmission setup fairly well, I let other people drive my truck to get their opinion. I also learn a great deal by watching how they drive and how the engine and transmission responds. Well, one day, I let my girlfriend drive. She's not in aggresive driver in her car, so I figured she wouldn't be too hard on my truck either. Boy was I wrong. We went around a right hand corner and she just nailed it about 1/2 way through the turn. She boiled white smoke off my rear tire for about 60 yards until she finally let off. She couldn't understand why it wasn't accelerating very hard until I showed her the cloud of white smoke behind us.



Gotta love her!

As for me driving I think Kat should just buy me my own Truck to race so that I can race him side by side and show him how it is done



Someone has to video tape this Sunday when Kat runs his 13. 5 with 100 mph.

My wife "tolerates" my truck. I think she's ammused at the time and money I spend on it. She does encourage me, and enjoys riding in it.

She's also gotten into looking at other Cummins Rams, and when my head turns at a Cummins rattle she knows exactly what I'm looking at.

My girlfreind's Accord went in the trader today. She has a long commute daily through an area with a lot of construction. Said no one see's her in the little car. Wanted something with a little intimidation value. So when the Honda sells it a 2500 Ram CTD for her. (Read: ME ) I love my Ram but being a work truck it's hard to go out and play.



She's been there helping me with all the bomb's on mine so convincing her that it needs a little work shouldn't be a problem. The only problem I see is that she drive's that little Honda like it's an Indy car so we may have to retrain her on cornering a bit.



Gotta love that little woman.
