Shelbyville, KY truck pull results

Went to Shelbyville last night. There was 17 trucks in the class. There was some hot competition there. Dave Gresh showed up with his Mitchellized Dodge. He made a full pull and had to let out because it was a short track. Dave, however, busted the rearend in the pull-off. Some local boys in the area that I know brought in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The weak one twisted the rear driveshaft like it was a dishrag. I burnt my 13" Mitchell button clutch up. There's a twin disk on the way.

Smoker, our gang up here in southern Ohio thought about comin down but it looked like a pretty long haul so we decided to stay home. I'm sure everyone was pleased seein Gresh run. I hate to hear he had trouble but it sounds like all in all it was a good time. I also hate to hear about your clutch, but at least now if go with the pullin clutch from Mitchell you know it'll hold. Did Dave twist the driveshaft or do something beyond that?? I'm confused, as always... . chris

I am not sure how bad it was. All I know is that it was his rear end. I think he busted his ring and pinion again. He said that if he didn't slip his clutch for at least 40-50 feet that he would bust his r&p every time.
