I have seen some pics recently of the new lightning 10 speed offered by Eaton Fuller. The knob has electric button control for the gear splitters. I really like the looks of the knob from what I can see of it and would consider trying to find one to use for my truck if I can get a better look at it. Does anyone know where there is a better picture on the net or if you have seen one and could post a pic.

Thanks

Jon

I've been debating what to do for control of my exhaust brake so after seeing this I went looking and couldn't find any great pictures but from what I did see, it's got me interested. I like that knob better than the one Bob V uses in his kit. I have to run out shortly and I'm gonna stop over to Loggers Supply (Western Star dealer) and see if they have a knob or can get one for me to see. I'll bring my camera incase they have a truck on site with one.

Here is a picture, it's not that good of a shot but it's the best I could do. From what I could find out so far the knob is about $150-250 depending on the break the dealer would give you. I'm still trying to get the amperage ratings from a rep. Oh and it's available with just the single switch to the forward or multiple switched as shown.

Anyone get any info on this knob. I've e-mailed 4 or 5 people at eaton and have gotten no response from them. I really think it would be slick for control over an exhaust brake and with the extra switch maybe even control my Fisher plow.

I have looked at them at one of the truck dealers but even they wouldn't really tell me anything so it has been put on the back burner for a while, maybe next year I will try looking at it again.
