Shift Knob With Switch

This shift knob (link below) from Geno's is listed as fitting 98. 5 to '04 trucks, does anyone know if it will fit my 2008 also? I have a set of Piaa driving lights in the factory fog-light position, and it would be great to be able to control them from the shifter. I know driving lights are SUPPOSED to be integrated with your high-beams, but I like being able to control them myself (by themselves, or with the low-beams on). The Piaa kit has a relay, so I'm not concerned with the draw being too much, I'm just concerned about fitment. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I tried Geno's shiftknob switch thingy but It's very light weight and caused a buzz to come up through the stick shift. It turns out the stock piece is weighted to stop this annoying buzz.

Thanks for the heads-up about the buzz, I'm still curious if it will fit though... I guess I'll call Geno's and see what they say.
