OK,:-laf

Can anyone tell me how the shift pattern ends up "upside-down" yet you can't twist the knob in either dierection:confused:

Seriously, can anyone tell me the thread size so that I can tap my "8-Ball".

It would be nice to know before I break the stock one... ..... #@$%!

Thanks

Your top cap of the shift knob is rotating not the knob itself. If you prye the top cap off with a sharp flat blade screw driver, you will see a 15mm nut holding the knob down on the lever. Simply unscrew the 15mm nut to remove the knob. The tread size is M10 X 1. 5mm.

or go to this link for a different option:

Thanks,

I thought it may have been just the top, but I have not been able to move that either. Guess I should not complain since it took 6 years to turn 180!

I like the Cummins Power custom knobs; but I'll stick with my 8-ball since I've had it in the toolbox now for 5 years. :-laf

mine did the same thing, couldn't figure out how in the heck it would get turned, pryed it out and re-positioned it and added one little drop of super glue, hasn't moved for over 2 years now.
