Hey members! Anybody had problems with their dash mounted 4x4 engagement controls? I'm looking at an '06. Wish it had a floor mounted setup but oh well! Thank you.

Mine works just fine, better than fine - great! I have always had the manual lever, but now I'm getting spoiled. No more having to get out and lock hubs, no more shifting the xfer case. I should have done this on the last truck, glad I have it now. I did not realize that the MegaCabs did not offer anything else, since it was something I was going to get anyway, I was glad to see it in the trucks.

Mine has been dead reliable - and engages and disengages much more quickly than all of my previous 4x4s with manual cases (94 Wrangler, 96 Ram 1500, 97 Ram 2500, 01 Ford F350).

Thanks!

Thank you for your input. Looks like nothing to worry about. Looked at the tail lights on the '07's and boy are they ugly from the side, but that's another thread.

I haven't had to fix any yet and everyone in our club has been trouble free. There was a flash to repair some early release trucks last year.

I have always had manual hubs and x-fer case until this rig. I have 225,000 miles in and out of primitive camps, pastures, small barn lots and hauling through the mountains ... ... ... ... . no troubles!
