Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Shifter Adjustment?

When on the street or in the dirt, if I have it in drive and I hit a big bump, the shifter moves and the truck goes into neutral. The other day while off-roading it did it two or three times. I'm just wondering if anybody else has had this problem, and what can be done to fix it? Thanks, Buck
