Shifter for NV4500

A friend of my son is looking for a shifter for a NV4500. He's doing a Cummins (2nd gen) conversion into a Ford. He has been told it's out of production.

Any clues?

There are two types of shifters used on the NV4500HDs. The older style is a spring loaded style and the newer bolts to the top cover and will accept a "short shift" adapter. I don't know if they are interchangeable or not. It would be nice if you could just switch top covers.



I hope someone with more knowledge than I 've got will chime in.
