shipping and moving

My 20 y. o. son is moving from Hollywood Florida back here to the Seattle area next month. He has a new big screen TV, pooltable, and a jetta to ship back here. It seems he might as well ship the car for $900, but the other may have to go. Does anyone know how to get these big heavy items across the US without an arm and a leg?

Well, he could rent a trailer and haul the stuff the approx 3,333 miles himself. Might be better off with a box van from U-Haul though. That long a trip he's bound to hit some weather.
