Anyone have experience with KYB Monomax Shocks?

Any heavily preferred shocks amongst the group?

I have a '95 2500, it will be my daily driver, occasionally towing a steel open car trailer with a front stone guard (3-4 times/year).

I have a '96 2wd. and can't praise the Bilsteins enough. I took Rancho 9000's off and put these on and with 70k on them they still handle like new. Just my $. 02.

I was a KYB fan and had them on my oither truck. I just got Bilsteins OEM's and I love them. I think the Bill steins have a smoother ride and faster responce. ORW has great prices

Which Bilstein?

Thanks for the input, I was looking in ORW and found these:

Bilstein Shocks for Dodge Ram 1500 '94-'01 Fullsize PU 2wd; '94-'02 Ram 2500/3500 2wd (except solid axle)Oem Replacement

What is a little confusing is that they list several other Bilstiens working their way up to GVW 8400lb+, but they call out 4WD... . the GVW on my truck is 8800lb:

Bilstein Shocks for Dodge Ram 1500 '94-'01 Fullsize PU 4wd; '94-'02 Ram 2500/3500 4wd (6400-7500gvw) Oem Replacement

Bilstein Shocks for Dodge Ram '94-'03 2500/3500 Fullsize PU 4wd (8400+gvw) Oem Replacement

I bought Blistein's earlier today from ORW, price with TDR dicount was 57 dollars per shock and free shipping. Pretty sweet deal I think.
