OK, you have me straight now on the shock replacement procedure, and it's nice to know that I can replace the shocks without removing the coils. And thanks for the heads-up.

But, I will add coils in the next year or less, and now I'm not sure that I can buy a Rancho or Bilstein shock that will fit with stock coils, and work with the 2" lift as well.

The Bilstein rep. told me that the OEM replacements, part #B46-2129, will fit stock of course, but would top out if I add the 2" coils. I am assuming that I would have the same trouble with Rancho. At the same time, Bilstein makes a shock for a 3" lift, but it will not work with stock coils..... catch 22, unless I do it all at once.

How did you guys deal with this ?

TIA
