I need to replace the shocks on my 99 3500 4x4 ASAP. After reading through the archives it seems that the best way is to remove the entire shock tower in the front and pull the shocks up through. Is this still agreed to be the best method? I remember not too long ago reading a post about the fronts being a royal pain to get off. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

On my 4x4 taking off the shock tower is the only way to remove shock. Unless of course you torch it into pieces but then again you have to get the new one in.
