The camper option on my truck makes the ride way too stiff and jarring, even with our light weight truck camper loaded.

I am considering new shocks.

This truck will probably never carry more than a 1500Lb payload.

Would HD Bilsteins in the front and regular ones in the back work?

Or would it be better to get Rancho 9000 adjustables, rather than experiment with different combinatios?

The question is not which is the better shock, rather, what would be better for >our< application.

Thanks

The front load does not change much so any medium hd shock will do. On the rear the 9000's work out very well as you can set it for the ride quality you want for the particular load you are carrying. The best 9000 setting for the front is 3, mid between soft and lumberwagon. Rears 1-5 depending on load or lack of load.
