Has anyone had a problem finding shocks for a y2k 2500? Dealer says part numbers are different than 1999 and jobbers do not have catalog numbers yet. Are the 2000 and the 1999 the same or did DC make a change? thanks for info, I need new shocks at 18k miles

FWIW, the Rancho catalog only goes to 98 or 99, but their 99 shocks fit my 01 3500 just fine.

The rears from my 96 4x2 also fit the rear of my 01 without a problem either.

Also... check with www.shox.com as I know they list Bilsteins for the 2000+ trucks, since I just got a quote from them the other day. $65 ea. I think f/r for Bilsteins.

RobG Thanks for the info. Everone I checked with around here came up with a blank. I hate to tear them off and find out I got the wrong parts. Great way to ruin a day.

  • RS9197 - Front shocks
  • RS9198 - Rears shocks
  • RS5404 - Steering Stabilizer

Those are the part numbers I have installed on my 2001.
