6 inchers too big??

okay i know this was covered in other forums but i want to know which shock set-up will be the best for towing my 30' travel trailer and for all around use of my truck. this is my everyday driver and i do haul some stuff in the bed. i'm not looking to spend a ton of money (don't need million dollar shocks) but want something good.

as listed below mine is a 2000 4X4 quad cab and i tow a 30' trailer roughly 7k thanks guys/gals

what model and price?

i see some in my camper mag. something trail (green color) is the name of the shock any good?

If you buy bilstein get the Heavy Duty Shocks (5100 w/ HD valving)
BE5-2549 front
BE5-2550 rear

Off Road Warehouse has a TDR discount on them, like $57. 99 each.

The front P/N assumes a levelling kit, so you want to get the std length shocks if you don't have longer springs.

okay sounds good. now my truck b-4 i got it was a plow truck and i have 83k on the clock should i change my front springs also?

While blistens are fine shocks, I like my adjustable Rancho's. It sounds like you only haul occationally. Simply adjust the rears down when empty and crank them up when loaded. It is the best of both worlds.
