Hey y'all,

Anyone else experience wash board roads? Is it time for new shocks or is that just nature of owning a 2500? If I bounce on bumpers and get off the truck stops and doesn't continue on it's own so it's like to think they're fine.

Shocks are kyb adjustable gas shocks about 4 years old. So probably 100k miles on them, no tire cuping either.

Washboard roads are super hard to smooth out especially with stock leafs, about the only thing that would help is lower tire pressure or thrown down money on some really good with alot of rebound control.

Just miles and the extreme bouncy ness of this one 1/8th mile of highway section going either way. Seems to have gotten worse but could be the road lol.

I live about 4 miles away from any paved roads. In our Southeast part of Arizona we get winds over the Dragoon mountains and that coupled with the local ranchers hauling cattle uo and down the dirt roads, we get 3-4 inch ripples. The county used to come out and blade the dirt roads after a monsoon. But this year has been a little dry...so I just have to drive REALLY slow for 4 miles. Oh well...the wife is happy. =)

@Larry Sciblo speed up if the road is straight!
You just need to get over the bad frequency and everything gets fine.
As soon as you over and up to speed, can be 50mph, it gets smooth and all you hear is a ron-ron-ron from the tires touching just the top peaks of the washboard.
