Heh Y'all:
Can anybody tell me if Eldebrock makes different Quality shocks. I installed sensa-track on my 3500 a while back, they're shot. I've been reading all the post on shocks and have found Eldebrock from $69-140. Are these different quality or just different prices from brokers? I've installed Roadmaster on the back and need to steady up the rear. Thought about the RO 9000's but just don't know.
Any information is needed.
Thanks

Preston,
I have run Rancho 9000's and now run the Edlebrock IAS shocks and the Edlebrocks are a better shock IMHO. They Retail for $74. 95. Look around some places my have them for a few bucks less.

Turbo thom,

I am considering switching to Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks. The information I got from the Edelbrock web site (www.edelbrock.com) stated that these shocks come with a lifetime warranty. Can't you just take them back and get replacements?

I'd be interested in knowing what happens regarding the warranty, since that's a big factor in deciding which shocks to buy.

Turbo thom,

I just re-read your original post. If you installed Sensa-trac shocks, you didn't install Edelbrock, you installed Monroe. I just checked the Monroe web site again, but didn't find anything about warranties during my cursory scan. I thought that the Monroe Sensa-trac's also came with a lifetime warranty. Let us know how things go.

Loren:
The Monroes are warranteed for life also but my problem is there does not seem to be any in the metro Atlanta area. A local shop has been looking for 2 weeks. I am still going to get the Monroe but will probably go with the Edelbrock.
Thanks Mike, you saved me that much evaluation of shocks.
Loren, I'll put the Monroes on my other truck.
Thanks All.
