I have a 1996 ex-cab 5sp. 4x4 3500. My shocks are shot must replace all four . What works and where do you find them . If you have had good or bad luck with replacement shacks please post here THANKS
Had a TDR deal when I got them around 70 per shock. Their free shipping deal was better so opted for that.
Very smooth riding shocks on and off road. Great reputation and warranty. Only other experience was monroe sensa trac didn't last more that six months.

If you are *not* looking for high performance, adjustable shocks, the KYB GasAjust are a very good unit. I've used them in several vehicles and have been quite pleased with them. The previous set I had on my '98 2500 had 75K miles, and I *thought* they were loosening up. But they were very nearly as good as the new ones I installed. If you were anywhere near Salem, VA, I'd sell 'em to you for $25 (provided the '98 4x4 shocks fit your '96). I believe new one run about $45 each.
