12 valve head studs? Do I need them?

EGT probe

Who makes the heaviest duty shock for the front of our trucks. I need something a single shock that will do the gob of the dual shock. Does anyone have an recommendations. It will need to be for a vehicle with a 6 inch lift.

Thanks

Trey

what do you all think about the Rancho adjustables. The problem that i am having is that the track bar is botteming out on the diff cover when i hit a bump straight on. It will not do it if you are flexing the truck. The one time it did bottom out is when i hit a place in the road where the new pavement hit old pavement. Do they make the Bilstein for our lifted trucks?

Thanks

Trey

ok i gues i found out that Bilstein does make the shocks for 5-6 inch lift. now the next questions is does anyone know off hand what the number we are suppose to use to get the deals. If i was at my home computer i would have it but i am not in town now so i will have to find it on here.

Thanks

Trey

The Trex guys should not even be mentioned here. They make a great product, but it is limited to a very, very small fraction of the users market. They are also a lift, not a bolt on shock replacement.

I have used Ranch 5000, Bilstien OEM and 5150's. The OEM shocks that come standard on the Dodge is a pathetic example of what a shock should be. The Rancho's are not bad, thou mine sprung a leek at less then 10,000 miles. The Bilstien shocks are in my opinion the best value for your hard earned money. They do a fantastic job of controlling the heavy front end of the Dodge truck. And in either a single or dual use, they work great. I do think they have a firm ride, and the top bushing sometimes seems to eat itself. The perfect fix would be to use a poly bushing to re-place the stock one, they are available at most auto supply stores (Auto zone, pep Boys). Good luck with your shock re-placement.
