shop manual, xm radio installation

I just purchased a 2004 1/2 Dodge 3500 Diesel 4x4. I am trying to get a shop manual but all I can find is one for the 2004. Does anyone know if it can be used with the 2004 1/2 truck? I've called the factory and the publisher but neither can tell me.

Also, I am installing a XM Satellite Radio and must use the wire from the accessories to connect to. However, because I don't have a manual I don't know which wire is for the accessories. Does anyone know? Would appreciate any answers. JerryJ

When i got my xm I traced the cigerett lighter to the fuse block and tapped in to it there. don't quite remember but i think it was a orange wire for positive.

on your harness, I am not sure about the factory radio colors, but usually the red is accessory, yellow is constant, and black is ground... this is a common color, but the factory wiring colors may be different. If it wasnt such a pain to get the radio out, I would go look for ya. . Best of luck to ya!

This is only true for aftermarket equipment. OEMs use whatever colors they feel like. IIRC the battery feed for the radio is pink...
