2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Shop near Houston to swap rear gears??

I just picked up a 98 Quad Cab LB 12v 5spd 2500 with 4. 10 gears.

I was hoping it'd have the 3. 54's as I run empty 95% of the time on the hwy 120miles a day. Any shops near Houston Texas that you guys would recommend?

Any guesses as to cost? The truck averaged ~19 driving 73mph on the trip home (all hwy) but it just doesn't't sound happy buzzing at ~2600 rpm for hours at a time.

I've had good luck with Four Wheel Parts ( www.4wheelparts.com ). Lots of experience and there are a bunch of locations if you need anything down the road. Ask to make sure their tech is experienced, not some newby getting trained on your rig!

Texas Auto Gear. They are HUGE Jeep freaks, and also have Dodge's that are hopped up. Great guys, I can get a number for you later if you want.
