Shop Recommendations in KC area

Hi Gang, I am new to TDR but have owned my truck since 94. Pretty darn good truck, but it is beginning to need more work. I have tried a couple of local Dodge dealers, and were unimpressed. Also there is a Cummins factory repair center here but they are god awful expensive. Does anyone know of a good independent shop in Kansas City or nearby that specializes in Diesel repair. I always feel like the local shops I have tried are "learning" as they go on my truck!!
Not a good thing!!!

Floor It Diesel Performance in Lawrence Ks. John is very sharp, easy to work with and knows what he's doing. There is a place in Kansas City that does diesel performance, but I guess they spelled it Cummings on their truck. That would worry me!! GIve John a call, he listed in the members section. Or PM me for his ###'s.

NKCBlue, having lived in KC for about 15 years and then moved out to Salina for a while, I can tell you that there are few to NONE decent diesel repair shops in KC. KC diesel does great work but like you said outrageously expensive. I am a diesel mechanic, and with John's (Floor It) knowledge and parts 'getability' (made up word... . LOL) I am thinking there is not a whole lot together that we can not do. From repair to BOMBing... . And I am sure that John like me is willing to work with you on just about anything you need.
