The hose on my shop vac is broken (1. 25"). A replacement from McMaster runs $20, which is about 1/2 the cost of a new vacuum! Seems a little excessive to me.



I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know of a source for cheaper replacement parts? [I did try some other places besides McMaster but only found as low as $17].



On edit: I'm a doofus. Here's one for $7.

Never thought about it. The part that broke on mine wasn't the hose, it was the hard plastic nozzle that fits in the hose. Shipping at that site I posted was only $2. 95, so I got away for <$10.
