OK had a 2nd genand lost it in a wreck... need another one

Dont have the money for a 3rd gen, and finding a 98 12v around here is damn near inpossible. I loved my 02 but will never own another automatic. . I dont care what it is I wanna row the gears.

I m needind advice on the year and some mech stuff.

5 or 6 spd? NOt gonna tow alot this is a daily driver but I do want a reliable transmission.

What year is the best all around truck.

Are all SLT trucks wired for power seats and power mirrors?

Does anyone have trouble with there cab clearance lights leaking?

I think thats the most of it. I know all about the vp44 trouble and lift pumps I just finished the install when my last one was totaled.

Thnx for the info

If you can take your time and look for the right truck you will be money ahead. You might be able to find one that already has whatever aftermarket stuff you want installed. I traded in my 02 six speed and left the south bend clutch, HRVP, 4" exhaust, and a new relocated lift pump with bigger lines on it. Whoever bought it is probably starting to figure out what's on the truck.

All of the offers seem great and look to be great rigs. Unfortunatly I am having to trade off a Beefed up Jeep Wrangler, So For me to get a truck its gonna be with a dealer. Its my daily driver at the moment so i have to drive it till i get another ride. I would just get the truck and then sell the jeep but my wife would freak.

Will your jeep work for a daily driver in a Colorado winter?

Do yourself a favor and don't buy one with a 53 block in it. You'll probably end up hating it later. I'd say 01-02 would be the years to shoot for.
