I'm not sure if I'm putting this post in the right place... hope I am.

I'm wondering if anyone whould know of a place in Idaho, around Mountain Home, that would carry the Fleetguard oil filters? I need to do an oil change pretty soon.

I know Geno's carries them, but if I can by local I would rather do that.

Just as you are coming into Boise there is a Cummins Dealer on the right hand side near Micron thats carries them. Also don't forget Genos carries them as well.

Sweet. I have to go through the way on my way to Seattle next week, so I'll have to stop buy and grab a few.

I think the Cummins dealer is Boise is darn proud of their stuff. 2 oil filters and 1 fuel filter was $48.

Ended up I had to go to Tacoma... talk about crazy traffic during 5-6PM rush hour... wheew!

I do business with Rocky Mountain Cummins in Billings. The prices are as competitive if not better, e. g. paid $8. 20 per 60#valve ($98. 40 for 12) versus $110 for Piers and $156 at Schied. Plus they were at my door in two days.

I just give them a call on the phone when filters are getting low or drop by when I'm in Billings visiting family. Good to get to know the shop folks. Dave Moody is the 12v goto. Checked out my 97 for free. Plus, when I did the KDP I picked up a gasket for $30 that they said I could bring back if I didn't use it; so I'm going to exchange it for a serpentine belt this Thanksgiving.

There is a one time fee "Boosters Club" that gives you a 10% discount. They also have semi-annual events and seminars regarding diesels in RVs and pickups.

I can't promise you the same service in ID, but here's the link in Boise.

Isn't there a big truck dealership on the north side of the freeway right in Mountain Home? Any Cummins distributor prices should be the same.

Hmm, I haven't seen anything in town. Boise is the closest Cummins shop as far as I know.

Found the receipt... Oil filter was 12. 07, fuel filter was 17. 43.

Geno's... oil filter is $9. 50, fuel filter $13. 95

I should have just done mail order.
