short bed question

is the short bed from 2002-2005 bodystyle 1500 same as the shortbed 2500. ust curious because i bought fender flares for my 05 2500 from ats used on ebay, but they stated they were for a 1500. and when i installed them the front fenders fit like a glove and the rears fit but not nearly as well as the front thats why i was wondering if the if the 1500 2500 had slightle different short beds? thanks

The basic body parts from the 2002-2007 1500 trucks should be the same as the 2003-2007 2500/3500 trucks. 2002 was the 1st year for the 3rd gen 1500, and then the 2500/3500 3rd gen came out in 2003.

You could have recieved long bed flares instead of short, there is a slight difference and when i bought my bushwackers off ebay, they had two diff. part numbers, but to the naked eye they may look the same, thus the potential mix up.
