I thought I had a blown fuse, stopped by the local parts store and picked up one of the square fuses. Installed it, it did not fix my problem. Checked all fuses that I could find, no help. Checked for power at the brake light switch, has power to it, but none coming out. Figured this might be the problem, not for sure. One other note, I was towing a buddy in his Ford (ha,ha) several days ago, had my hazzards on they quit working, have been having problems ever since.

First check the electrical connections back at your trailer plug in on your bumper, many times the crimp connectors will corrode and open the circuit, clean the wires up and check for power to everything and re crimp or solder the wires back together.

Need Help!!! This is my daily driver.

O. K. I was just checking out my problems. Checked the trailer connector in the rear. Took it apart, looked fine, no corrosion, but sprayed it full of electrical contact cleaner. I was checking my tail lights. Marker lights, fine. Left turn signal, fine. Right turn signal, both sides flash and still no brake lights. Also, my hazzards are not working. Question, could it be in my steering column, don't know what the switch is called, but the one that operates the hazzards or the turn signal/wiper/high beam switch. Need help this is my daily driver.

WBodine, it's called a Multi-Function switch.

Did you check the flasher unit by the fuse panel.

If your getting power to the brake light switch but none is coming out you probably need a new switch. You could try adjusting brake light switch first unless you have ruled that out already.

still looking for problem

O. K. I found some problems. After much hair pulling I found that the wires running from the brake light switch had shorted and fused together. So I replaced the brake light switch, multi function switch, and flasher. ( all were thoroughly cooked ) Got most of my problems fixed. . Brakes are fine, parking lamps are fine, left turn signal is fine, right turn signal works, but front is ok on the back both sides flash as if the hazards were on, and the hazards work fine. I have a headache rack I cut the wires going to it to eliminate any problems there. . I am about ready to burn it to the ground. Any help is appreciated#@$%!
