I got a 99 4x4 with full length running boards. Mom and i are about 5 ft tall and we need to get some Steps to mount on the running boards. Does anyone know where to find a e-mail or 800 number to get them Thanks

I mounted a set of motor home electric steps to my truck. My wife is handicapped so she could not get in the truck otherwise. These steps have two treads and extend when the door is opened. E-mail me and I'll send you some pictures and explain how I did it. Opps, I can't do that until Monday since I'm away from my main computer until then.

Radar Doctor,

Check out the Kodiak steps. I think Geno's carries them at a good price. They are electric, fold down when the door opens and seem relatively easy to install(?). From the set I saw installed on a Dodge, they might be able to be installed in addition to your running boards and create a "ladder" of two steps into the truck.

Good luck.

I agree with Kodiak... These look like the cats meow to me too.

I also agree with the "mountains" comment as well... . Wouldn't happen to be a Sourdough now would ya?

Joe,

When you get to your main computer, I would appreciate it if you would drop me the information on how you added the steps.

May not be too far from needing something like this for the other half.

Rattlin,

If you have TDR issue 13 there are pictures on pages 20 and 21. I went with the motor home steps because of the room on the treads and the low step height because of having two steps. If I don't remember to send you the pictures on Monday (REAL bad case of CRS!) send me a PM.
