Short Shift Kit In...

This BD Short Shift Kit is not a real difficult install and after the test drive a few minutes ago I'd have to say it is well worth it. The NV-4500's nearly 1 Foot gear throws are almost cut in half and it really feels nice! The NV-4500 is a bit notchy as a gear box goes, but hey, we didn't buy a 6-speed Porsche turbo... right?

My impression is that if you do a lot of around-town driving and like to row through those gears in a snappy way (like I do) this $185. 00 upgrade is a solid improvemnet. Just my 0. 02. .

Man, these reviews vary so much. I guess the best thing to do is to drive one and see if you like it. It seems like one of those upgrades that some like and some don't. To each his own, I guess.

Be careful gentlemen. Myself and a few others had a bad experience with the BD short shift. And if you do, BD will kick you to the curb. They are not interested in any resolutions, just your WALLET... ... . Do a search on it if your interested... ... ...
